Popularized by Betty Edwards\, blind contour drawing is a way to turn drawing on its head. In this course we will create wild interpertations of observaional drawing. This exercise is called “pure contour drawing” from the book The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. By attempting to draw a continuos outline without looking at your paper\, we introduce a new way to approach drawing\, as well as create new and unexpected illustrations of familiar objects.
Ages 8 to 12.
